The sassy words of Olena Warchol...

while driving in the car over the weekend... O: mommy, where are we going? me: we are going to the craft store and then we have to take Toycha (aunt Rickie) home. O: I just want to go home. me: I know we have been busy a lot lately but Toycha needs a ride home so we are going to take her. Its a long drive but we will try to make it fun ok? O: but I would really really like to go home. Rickie: Olena, how would I get home? Uncle Dan is at work and I don't have a car at your house. O: (while pouting and looking out the window with her arms crossed - she slowly looks at Rickie, with a serious and sassy tone she says) Well then, guess you'll have to walk! and then goes back to looking out the window. I almost busted a gut I wanted to laugh so hard. Keep in mind Rickie lives in Windsor and we have to cross the bridge to get there.
Only recent picture I have downloaded on my camera. I keep forgetting my flash card upstairs and once I am on the computer and busy doing something I am too lazy to go back up there and get it. Not to mention I hate my flash card software! I have a bunch of August pics on there so sooner or later I will get them up for you.

OK so for those of you wondering where the heck I am...if anyone even reads this blog...I am still here and haven't completely lost my mind yet. I promise once my life to back to some normalcy I will blog a lot more frequently. We are very very close to being in our new home. We have about 1/2 of our life at the new house and the bare necessities here. We are still waiting for all of the inspectors to come through and hubby is putting a few of the final touches together but I am pretty hopeful that we will make the final move over the Labor Day weekend. We will still have lots of small stuff to do once we are in but they are things that can be done on weekends ~ small projects here and there. I have to admit, I am not real excited about getting settled. You know, how I'll be busy changing things, moving things, adding things, trying to figure out what works best for us. I think it took us about 5 years to finally get this house to where we were comfortable and to the poin...
Oh where, oh where, has my sanity gone?....oh where, oh where can it be? It was once right here....and now it's gone, oh where oh where can it be?
