I have to admit the honeymoon is over...working full time officially stinks in my book! :) It has really taken a toll on me over the last few months, mostly because I am down one very important person in my department. Shannon my amazing HR rep is a key factor in our department and she has been out on maternity leave. I am of course extremely happy for her and her adorable baby boy. And while my assistant is as equally awesome, with 50+ employees starting per week, its a lot of work for 2 people. So that is partly the reason for my lack of posts, I just don't feel like sitting at the computer and "talking" about anything. But I do miss it! We started off as a family of 3 when we finalized Olena's adoption in 2006. 2017 brought many changes and we are now managing our lives as divorced parents who love our daughter more than anything in this world and still love to promote adoption. While I don't blog as much as I use too, I do like to keep updates going at least once a year for those of you who followed our story for the last decade.
