Taking Otis for a ride in the new wagon!

The new Schwin Quad Steer Wagon from Grampie...every toddler's dream? or every man's dream??

The get up was her idea. I just love the rudy slippers. She told me that "Santa Claus bought this outfit for her and she works at the pole making toys with teeby tiby peoples"

enjoying a cupcake...or should I say enjoying some frosting

I am so excited to have found your new blog! Sorry to hear about Jason. I feel his pain. I was jobless from June to end of October. Not fun. I have a great situation now and am thankful so far it is working out! Tell him to hang in there and the right job will fall into place.

Olena is so cute! And, getting so big.

Lyra finally got her "f"s and we were so happy that the fish was no longer the "piss". That got embarrassing. LOL! She is working on her "r"s now. They sound like "w"s. When you get some tips from the therapist on how to handle that one, please pass them on.

Lyra is very excited about turning four. She keeps asking me if she is four yet and I keep telling her "soon". We really need to get together this year. I am dying to see every one.

Glad to hear that you are all doing well! and cute pics, as always (I don't think you could take a bad pic of that child).

Hugs.

Notice anything different?

A little accessory for her Aunt Rickie's wedding.  She kept telling us she wanted long hair like us for the wedding but we just never grew it out.  So voila! instant long hair! I do plan to make it look a lot nicer for the wedding.  Literally she walked in from playing in the sprinkler and I shoved it on her head.  Once her real hair is curled it will blend and look more uniform. I am proud at how well I matched the color, I was worried because I ordered it off line.

Being brave the best way she knows how.

Olena has a big issue with getting her nails clipped. This has been a problem since bringing her home and though it has improved a bit in four years, it is still a 45 minute fight just to trim her fingers and toes. She has never been hurt - she just has a problem with it due to her sensory disorder - she is extremely over sensitive when it comes to her feet or hands. I am cutting her nails the other day.... O: do you have to cut the baby one too? M: Yes! O:NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, not the baby one OK? M: I have to, it's really long O: NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, its my dragon claw. M: I still have to cut it O: NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, just leave it ok! Leave them all. I can do it. M: how? you don't know how to use the clippers. O: like this! (as she attempts to put her toes in her mouth and act like she biting the nails off) M: that's just wrong....not to mention disgusting. I need to cut them. Please give me your foot. O: (as nervous as be) just wait a minute.....**big sigh**....(gr...
