Note the Veggie Tale obsession - I came in the room and asked if I could take a picture of her make up job and she insisted I take a picture of Larry first.
So you can see Larry (in case you do not know, he is the Cucumber), the Larry shirt (which she wears EVERY TIME it is clean), the Veggie Tale fruit snacks that she spotted while out at Big Lots with me (it only had 4 packages in the box and she has been stretching them out because she doesn't want me to throw the box away. We have been down to the last bag for over a week now.) All she has been doing is carrying the box with the one package still inside! LOL! Oh lets not forget the green pants which are not necessarily Larry related but they are green so that is Larry enough for her, and if you look closely next to her on the bed is her Veggie Tale's DVD and Bob!
Don't let that fool you though, Bob takes the back seat in this relationship, it is all about Larry!

The really reason for this photo shoot.
I gave her the vanity mirror and a barrage of my old make up. This was the outcome.
She said she painted her face like a tiger.

Anyone buy this? Do ya think she is really this sweet??

Karys's favorite is Bob. She calls Veggietales (books or movies) "Bob". I love the shirt:).

Notice anything different?

A little accessory for her Aunt Rickie's wedding.  She kept telling us she wanted long hair like us for the wedding but we just never grew it out.  So voila! instant long hair! I do plan to make it look a lot nicer for the wedding.  Literally she walked in from playing in the sprinkler and I shoved it on her head.  Once her real hair is curled it will blend and look more uniform. I am proud at how well I matched the color, I was worried because I ordered it off line.

Being brave the best way she knows how.

Olena has a big issue with getting her nails clipped. This has been a problem since bringing her home and though it has improved a bit in four years, it is still a 45 minute fight just to trim her fingers and toes. She has never been hurt - she just has a problem with it due to her sensory disorder - she is extremely over sensitive when it comes to her feet or hands. I am cutting her nails the other day.... O: do you have to cut the baby one too? M: Yes! O:NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, not the baby one OK? M: I have to, it's really long O: NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, its my dragon claw. M: I still have to cut it O: NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO, just leave it ok! Leave them all. I can do it. M: how? you don't know how to use the clippers. O: like this! (as she attempts to put her toes in her mouth and act like she biting the nails off) M: that's just wrong....not to mention disgusting. I need to cut them. Please give me your foot. O: (as nervous as be) just wait a minute.....**big sigh**....(gr
