In regards to Tonya's post.

I thought I would amuse you Tonya. Here is some information that I learned a few years back. I tried to post it on your comments but my computer is acting up.... hope you get a good chuckle! Stay at Home and Working Moms and determined the top 10 jobs that make up a mom's job description. If paid, Stay at Home Moms would earn $134,121 annually. Salary.com found the job titles that best matched a mom's definition of her work to be (in order of hours spent per week): housekeeper, day care center teacher, cook, computer operator, laundry machine operator, janitor, facilities manager, van driver, CEO and psychologist. New job titles that made the list in 2006 include psychologist, laundry machine operator, computer operator, and facilities manager. The job title of nurse fell out of the top 10 this year. Now, moms and their families can visit http://swz.salary.com/momsalarywizard/htmls/mswl_momcenter.html and create their own "Mom paycheck" with the Mom Salary Wizard®

sorry they didn't all fit in the last post, here are the rest. Mugsy being very embarrassed in his b-day hat!! Yummy, cake!

Happy Birthday Pictures

The b-day girls throne! Her cake. She originally told me that she wanted 3 cakes! Well she got one for herself and 24 little ones (cupcakes) for everyone else. It was called a tear away cake. and it was DELICIOUS !! Stealing frosting! Making a wish! I LOVE when everyone sings Happy Birthday. She continued to sing happy birthday to herself the rest of the day!

Making slime

We made some slime last week, and she loved it. You use baking soda, water, glue and food coloring! Jason and I liked to play with it too, it was cool!
Say hello to the 3 year old Olena..... My little angel is growing up so fast. My hearts just melts when I think about the fact that she is already 3! Where has the time gone?? It is honestly a little weird because your mind knows she has only been around for a year so it seems like we should be celebrating her 1st year birthday, not 3rd! This year wasn't hard though. I remember last year feeling sorry for myself because of everything I had missed in her life, blah blah blah! I can be such a whiner sometimes! LOL :) but this year was a lot of fun. She has mastered the idea of presents, and loves them, just like her mommy! and she enjoys birthdays very much. When we starting singing to her she was so excited. We just had a very small party with the grandparents and aunts. Nothing fancy, some lunch, cake and ice cream. She had a great time and was very happy with all of the birthday fussing going on around her. She is such a ham! I myself have been busy with some late winter cleaning.
The last few days have actually been a little interesting! On Monday I was shocked by a phone call from the Hospital that Olena's pediatrician works out of. They said they were calling me in regards to our past due balance. What?? So I think back...I did take her in December because she was telling me for 2 weeks she had a booboo in her ear. (which ended in a 4 HOUR trip to the doctor to find there was absolutely NOTHING wrong) anyhow, I paid the $30 copay. I ask the poor nice lady on the other end, "what is this past due balance from, because I have never seen a bill?" "date of service 1.4.07" did I take her for her ear in January or December? now my brain is going crazy and I start to think I have really lost it! January 4th?? what the heck happened on the 4th?? Oh, maybe that is when it was processed? o.k. "they must not have covered the appointment for her ear, why are they billing me, and how much is the total?" "This particular bill is
I thought this was quite interested. I went back on my original blog to re read over some stuff. This is a posting I wrote exactly 2 years ago. It is so funny because at this time, you think it is one of the worst days of your life. I sit here now, and when I read through it, I didn't even remember this day! All I remember now, is how quite and clean my house use to be :) LOL!! Especially if you are an adoptive parent you know about the "overwhelming" days. Today is one of those days. I don't know why but it seems like every so often everything starts to hit you and emotions start running you over. There's no end in site for us. I think that is hardest part of all this. We have waiting for so long. Just waiting....and only for one thing - the damn appointment!!!I did my daily check today of all the important websites, to see if there has been as progress in the new establishment and of course it had a disappointing end. It is almost as if the world has stopp

so here we go...

First I should say thank you to all of you who have found us important enough to continue reading about :) Hopefully I can manage to keep you somewhat entertained! I have to admit, I am pretty excited about the new blog and I have a lot of fun creating it. This time around it will be more so about us a family rather than just focusing on Olena , sorry! I welcome all comments and believe me I will appreciate and feedback or advice, especially those things concerning parenting! I am always up for new ideas. Anyhow to bring you up to date, 2008 has been pretty busy so far. We have finally had some down time the past few days and I have been beside myself with boredom - not really! but the fact that I haven't had too much to do has lead me to sit on my butt that last few days, and in turn, it landed my lazy fanny in the chiropractor's office this morning. My hips and lower back were killing me. I felt like a million dollars after my adjustment, but then I sat here at the computer f
