Global Warming Sucks!

I live in Michigan and never do I remember not having any snow by the end of January. This is WINTER Miss Mother Nature and we are suppose to have snow in Michigan in the winter and lots of it. All we want to do is go outside and build a snowman - go sledding - and have a snow ball fight!

NO instead we will completely by pass spring, have a snow storm in April and it won't melt until June! You gotta love it here!

I agree with you...it's the same way here in Chicago. We are alternating between freezing temps and warmer weather. Cannot wait for spring...hope it's a true spring!

Notice anything different?

A little accessory for her Aunt Rickie's wedding.  She kept telling us she wanted long hair like us for the wedding but we just never grew it out.  So voila! instant long hair! I do plan to make it look a lot nicer for the wedding.  Literally she walked in from playing in the sprinkler and I shoved it on her head.  Once her real hair is curled it will blend and look more uniform. I am proud at how well I matched the color, I was worried because I ordered it off line.

Soon to be teenager!

We just celebrated our 11th Gotcha Day, this kid amazes me everyday.  She is doing fabulous in the 6th grade.  She currently has all As and 1 B.  She loves school and still loves to learn.  She struggles a bit with making friends, but she handles herself well, meshes great with the staff and the teachers and doesn't take any crap or bullying from anyone.  LOL!  She has had her fair share of issues, and has had to write out 50 Ways to be Respectful a handful of times and has been in the "warrior room" to work out conflicts more than once but she is loving, kinds, silly, strong and very self confident.
